Dear Curious One,
I have always had a habit of keeping things.
Old photographs. Jewellery, obviously. Notes I should have thrown away years ago. Songs attached to particular summers. Screenshots of sentences I swear I'll come back to.
Memories, mostly.
Somewhere along the way, I think I started building Imani & Co for the same reason.
It began with my mama, an eye for detail I like to think I inherited from her, and trips into the depths of the bazaars in Pakistan. I fell in love with the idea that jewellery was never just adornment. We wore our stories. We passed them down.
So I began making my own: jewels dipped in heritage, designed to become part of your stories too.
But my brain has never been particularly good at staying in one lane. (She has tabs open much to the dismay of my hubby whenever he sees my laptop.)
I wanted to write. To gather people around tables. To make things with our hands. To talk about books and culture and the strange business of figuring life out. I wanted more reasons to put our phones down, dress up and actually be somewhere together.
And so this little jewellery brand started becoming a world.
Heirlooms to wear.
Khwaab Khayaal gatherings to come together.
Musings for everything in between.
I'm building it as I go, and I'd quite like you to build it with me.
Wear the jewels. Come to a gathering. Read my thoughts. Tell me yours.
Come Curious. Stay awhile.
Imani xoxo
Where will your curiosity take you?

THE PLACES WE GATHER
For the conversations we’ve been meaning to have and the people we haven’t met yet.
My Musings
THE THINGS WE REMEMBER
Personal thoughts, questionable observations and things I’ve probably overthought. There is no posting schedule. I know myself too well to promise you one.
